This web-site presents the concept of 3-D Environmental Impact Assessment Public Engagement Tools which aims to facilitate Continuous Public Involvement (CPI) in development proposals and promote greater public participation in the decision making process. Two artificial projects have been used to demonstrate the essential phases of an EIA, including Baseline Condition Study, Alternative Option Study, Impact Assessment and Mitigation Measures.

To view the 3D EIA Public Engagement Tool models, you will need to install a VRML viewer such as Parallel Graphics Cortona VRML Client.
